Advance Metals Limited (ASX:AVM) (Advance Metals or the Company) is pleased to announce the Company has finalised a further geological review of the Garnet Creek Project. The review has identified several areas that will be mapped during the exploration program that is currently underway. The Company will be taking multiple samples across the property to develop drilling targets and permits that will be submitted later in the year.
HIGHLIGHTS
- High grade skarn deposit mined during early 20th century
- Historical drilling indicated host rock extends below the historic workings.
- Potential for high grade copper deposits under old shallow workings
- Seven Devils Group is the target geological formation for copper
The geological review identified that the skarn deposits mined during the early 20th were only excavated to a shallow depth with the potential for deeper deposits remaining. The tactite deposits at Windy Ridge have the potential to extend below the historic workings. The Company is targeting the Seven Devils formations that has historically held high grade copper.
